Exigo advanced WBC diff method
Traditional WBC differentiating methods often incorrectly flag animal WBC as pathological. By using an advanced analysis algorithm, Exigo takes into consideration both the actual measured cell compositions as well as the expected profile of the analyzed species when performing the analysis. Thus, many normal samples that would be flagged as abnormal are avoided. Studies show that up to 80% of false indication of pathology can be avoided with this system.

Samples considered as pathological will be flagged by the system and will give a clear recommended action for further analysis of the sample.
On-board clot prevention system
Animal blood specimens have a tendency to cause clots and blockages in cell-counter analysis systems. Therefore Exigo is equipped with on-board cleaner automatically keeping the system constantly clean.
Exigo should only be used with its original reagents. All reagents are non-toxic and cyanide-free.

Exigo is a system every veterinary should be able to trust and depend upon in their diagnosis that is why a thorough, full control system has been designed for this system.
Control samples should be used on a frequent ( preferably daily) basis to verify the systems operation. Using the system Control frequently gives clear and quality proof of the system’ s performance, which can easily be monitored through the built in QC program.

Exigo should be cleaned periodically to avoid build up of proteins or bacterial growth inside the system. Use only original cleaners. Other cleaners may damage the interior of the system.
